Ecocivilisation Talks: The Post โ€“ Millennial generation and Ecocivilisation


BCSSS President Alexander Laszlo and Managing Director Stefan Blachfellner contributed once again to the Ecocivilisation talk series with their reflections from a systems perspective. The talk considers the challenges faced by the current generation in an age of unprecedented interconnectedness and the often contradictory needs for community and the search for individual identity.

Speakers:

Ximena Zeballos
Curious and passionate young Bolivian-Argentine who studied and worked as a Waldorf teacher for 7 years. Open minded to understand different realities and cultures. Now studying a masterโ€™s degree in Social Science orientated to Education and looking forward to working with education and climate change action.

Rishika Sharma
She is currently the National President of the Council of Ethics at the Womenโ€™s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI), and part of the Core Team at Eight Goals One Foundation (8one). She is also one of the 60 gender advocates chosen from the South Asia and MENA regions for the Swedish Instituteโ€™s Leader Lab 2021.

Farai Munjoma
An education entrepreneur who founded Shasha Network, a digital learning and consultancy startup that supports young people in Africa with early career development. He is on a mission to use digital technology to unlock human potential capacity across Africa. Farai has worked as Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO of the African Leadership Group in Kenya.

Kevin Treu
He forms part of a new political movement in Germany called dieBasis (Basisdemokratische Partei Deutschland), aiming to implement a grassroots democracy under the premise of 4 holistic pillars โ€“ mindfulness, freedom, power-limitation and collective intelligence. His personal goal is to affect positive change in the way we live together and do politics. Away from stereotypical thinking and dog-eat-dog mentality and towards an open and mindful social coexistence, as well as true equality and fairness.

Pina Maja Bulc
Nature enthusiast, a scout and animal lover. She is a marketing freelancer and believes in finding the balance in everything we do and most of all, loving what we do. Through many years of experience in leadership, non-formal education and mentoring she learned that listening is not the same as hearing and finding you own path is the hardest yet the most beautiful thing one can do for themselves.
